Elise + Danny {Wedding Photography}

We were out in Cobourg a few weeks ago shooting Elise and Danny’s fun-filled, hilarious, soul-feeding wedding.

A little back story? We first met Elise and Danny for a coffee at a shabby-chic coffee bar along Queen West to talk about wedding photography and how photography fit into their wedding day vision. Right from the moment we met them, we knew that Elise and Danny would be fun (to say the very least)! Elise is from Australia, and like most Australians, has an unscratchable (yes, I made that word up) itch to see the world. Of course, running into Danny has convinced Elise that Canada provides the best choice in men!

Elise had decided on an absolutely beautiful veil and paired it with her grandmother’s pearls.

Watching Elise put on her veil, and having a chance to capture the timeless reaction of her flower girl were priceless.

Off to St. Peter’s in Cobourg, we had the chance to shoot a few brief portraits of the wedding party right before the ceremony.

We had planned a walk around the neighborhood to take some bridal party photos. Thanks in large part to Elise and Danny’s energy, as well as that of their bridal party, we put together this set of pictures.

Elise and Danny held their reception at McLean House, a part of the Estates of Sunnybrook in Toronto.

An old romantic estate, could there be a better place for a first dance?

Elise and Danny’s reception was chock-full of poetry inspired details – where better to shoot their rings than with some verse as a back drop.
