We met up with Erin and Ryan at one of their favorite coffee shops in their neighbourhood, The Good Neighbour. Nothing like kicking off a shoot with a shot of espresso, some amazing gelato, and great conversation. Our plan was simple — take a stroll on a beautiful Sunday afternoon around the Junction, ending up in Erin and Ryan’s backyard for some photos of them with Quinton.
Meandering down Annette we took advantage of some awesome brick walls and pavement in the school yard. Despite the sun, it wasn’t a calm day and the wind was playing havoc with Erin’s hair. Sometimes tousled hair is actually just perfect though.
*Love* Erin’s shoes!!! (Okay, yours aren’t bad either, Ryan — they’re just not sea foam patent leather :))
Whether we’re shooting a wedding, an engagement session, or an event — details are so important. Erin’s engagement ring is absolutely beautiful, but so is her grandmother’s ring that she wears on her right hand. Had to get a shot of the two of them together.
With the sun starting to set, we headed back to Erin and Ryan’s amazing backyard oasis. With an awesome patio and Erin’s thriving vegetable garden, it’s no wonder Erin and Ryan spend a lot of time there. Oh and it’s the perfect playground for Quinton. Okay, that’s not him, but it’s a stunning likeness :).
Erin and Ryan — thanks so much for allowing us into your world. Our fingers and toes are crossed that Quinton gets to be the dog of honour for the wedding. Seriously, we want, no, need, to get some photos of him in his tie!!
