Magda and Mike met during undergrad at McMaster University. So, it was only fitting that they spent part of their wedding day traipsing across campus and through the adjoining woods.
But first, their wedding in the beautiful St. Eugene De Mazenod Parish. Magda selected an absolutely gorgeous train and veil for the church. And she was *really* excited about. Naomi climbed up to the balcony to capture Magda’s walk down the aisle with her dad with this in mind.
After the ceremony, we were off to McMaster. We collaborated with Magda and Mike on the photography plan before their wedding — they had told us some “musts” and we used these as the starting points for our plan. We began with something classic — the two of them under the archway at University Hall. . .
The bridal party took 5 at one of the campus pubs, allowing Magda and Mike to spend some time alone in this pretty wooded area, snuggling, whispering to each other, and fooling around with Magda’s veil. All alone together, the stress of the day melted away, and they were all smiles.
We couldn’t resist including a shot of Magda and Mike’s cake topper. We mentioned in their engagement post that Magda was creative and crafty — making Hallowe’en costumes, designing custom save the dates, etc. Magda also made their cake topper, which features her dragging Mike away from the TV and his video game system. Love it. Especially because Magda’s emails to us were typically signed “Magda, and Mike (who is playing “X” game).” Seriously. Magda even made the itty, bitty controller! Amazing job, Magda.
We had a great time with you guys. Thanks for including us in your day!
