Marg and Matt were married at the end of this summer at the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse and held their intimate reception at Hopgood’s Foodliner.
We started the day with Marg, her bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law to be, and her sisters at Fringe on Queen West for hair and makeup.
Marg was absolutely beaming, chatting with her mom.
Capturing Marg seeing herself in the mirror for the first time with her veil. This just got real.
Meanwhile, Mark headed over to Matt and Marg’s condo in Liberty Village where the guys were getting ready. . .
Naomi headed over to the Westin Harbour Castle with Marg and the girls. Stunning views from their suite . . .
Naomi may have had a not-so-secret love affair with Marg’s shoes. But seriously, Christian Louboutin?! What’s a girl to do, but snap away?
Marg also picked a *stunning* dress that fit every curve perfectly.
What happens on wedding days never ceases to amaze us. Marg is an amazingly fit Crossfit Trainer, but she has a secret love of KFC. Her bridesmaids, who were awesome, were sure to have some delivered as a pre-wedding snack.
Marg is so expressive, and emotional. After opening her gift from her mom, the tears started to well up.
Nervous excitement and anticipation before putting on her dress . . .
A little helping hand from Marg’s mom and sister with her dress.
Marg is definitely a daddy’s girl. The looks between them throughout the day were so touching.
Marg — you looked absolutely beautiful!
With all the last finishing touches taken care of, we were off to the main event at the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse, a beautiful heritage building on Trinity Street. The light that streamed through the windows was absolutely magical.
Matt and his guys. So relaxed.
One of our favorite times of the day — the first look.
Marg’s dad with Marg and Matt — from both of our perspectives:
All smiles, tears, and laughter. And two families becoming one.
The newlyweds (and their bridal parties) in front of the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse’s beautiful facade.
Seriously, Marg? You’re just too beautiful.
For a different look, and somewhere close to their hearts, we headed to Liberty Village. A few of the outtakes capturing Matt and Marg with their fun-loving (read: crazy fun) family and friends.
Both Matt and Marg were born and raised out east so they opted for Hopgood’s contemporary east coast comfort food. Stellar choice. We can’t say it enough — we love restaurant receptions (with Hopgood’s being amongst our favorites). So intimate and personal. Plus, the food is amazing!
It was hard not to well up watching Marg and her dad. Clearly the bond between them is so strong and they’re not afraid to show some emotion.
These two. Finally alone on the dance floor. Talking, snuggling, and singing to each other. The perfect first dance.
We couldn’t pick our favorite ring photo so we’ll leave you with two:
Matt and Marg — thanks so much for asking us to document your day! Stay tuned for a selection from this wedding that we’re submitting to Top Knots. Coming soon!
